Invest in the future
How it works
CFBL programs are youth-conceived and operated. Currently, they are 100% supported by private donations. Due to the challenge of getting funds raised to where they count, we are taking a micro-finance approach and asking for your help to support a program that doesn’t have fancy corporate headquarters (but it now has a brick building in the camp!) or paid staff.
Since CFBL is not a North American registered charitable organization, no tax receipts can be issued for your contribution. Your donation goes to CFBL via a PayPal account managed by CFBL director Gabriel Muholeza, who uses these funds to directly assist students, teachers and local suppliers of teaching materials.
Due to the very big challenge of sending funds to Malawi, depending upon where your are sending from, there may be a limit to how much can be contributed in one transfer. If you are interested in making a larger contribution, please contact us directly and we’ll figure out the best way to make it happen.
What you get
As a contributor to CFBL, your return on investment is the knowledge that you are helping highly motivated young people in great need to learn skills that will put them on the path to self-reliance and give them part of what they need to create a better future – and in many cases – any future at all.
